The style was inspired by the Cuban guayabera shirt that Cuban men wore to stay cool while working in the humid Caribbean weather. After the Cuban Revolution, the camp shirt made its way to Miami and New York in the 1950s and took off after it was worn by Sean Connery’s 007 in Thunderball. We crafted this shirt for tall men between 6’3” and 7’1” and made it as durable as it is comfortable.
